SODIUM SELENATE Agriculture Grade
Sodium Selenite is a colourless solid. The pentahydrate Na₂SeO₃H₂O₅ is the most common water-soluble selenium compound. Sodium selenate treatment significantly improved rice performance and maize yield.
Low Doses of Sodium Selenate adsorption stimulate plant growth and enhance grain weight.

Anhydrous salt is used in the production of some glass. Although the selenates are much more toxic, many physical properties of sodium selenate and sodium sulfate are similar.
Dosage
Sodium selenate treatment significantly improved rice performance at initial heading stage not only improved the grain yield of fragrant rice by increasing the seed-setting rate and grain weight, but also promoted the grain quality by increasing crude protein contents and lowering the chalky rice rate.
Remarks
It is the sodium salt of selenic acid and is highly soluble in water. In agriculture, sodium selenate is used as a fertilizer due to its high selenium content.
