Green Petcoke is a unprocessed coke fresh out of the coker, Green Petcoke also known as raw or delayed petcoke. Green delayed petcoke is high in oil content so its cleaning is different and its cleaner is also varies from ordinary pet coke remover. Green delayed petcoke stubborn also leaves stains on the surface The longer it’s left, the more difficult it becomes. As soon as possible, thoroughly remove all of the residue with a high-pressure sprayer. Some types of petcoke, like the calcined variety, are fairly dry and easily cleaned from a ship’s cargo hold. Green delayed petcoke, however, is high in oil content.

Note : Before loading of green petcoke, application of RXSOL SLIP COAT on surface is a wise decision.

Hold Wash Concentrate RX is a powerful alkaline liquid cleaner specifically formulated for the cleaning of cargo holds, tanks, and decks after the carriage of difficult bulk cargoes. It effectively removes oily, greasy, and carbon-based residues as well as dirt and dust deposits from bulk loads such as coal, pet coke, sulphur, minerals, and fertilizers. The product is designed for use in high-pressure washing machines, spray systems, and manual cleaning, ensuring fast and efficient cleaning with minimal effort.

Dosage

Depending on contamination 50 - 200 ml per 10 litrs of water . i. e. 200 mol to a bucket of water .

Method of Application and Dose Rates:
1.Direct injection method for  washing machines. Dose rate 1-5 litres per ton wash water (0.1-0.5%).
2.Recirculation method. Dose rate 1-7 litres per ton wash water (0.1-0.7%).
3.Spot cleaning. Hand spray neat or diluted with up to Five parts water and leave for several minutes before rinsing off with clean water.Cleaning of Cargo Tanks to remove Soot from Inert Gas Systems.
5.Spray RXSOL-22-2204-210 on with a high pressure cleaning machine and use1:6 with water.If used with hand sprayer,spray the product neat onto the surface,allowing1 lit.for every12 m2.Use a5-8%solution in a tank washing machine.
6.Leave for about 30-45 minutes.The surface should be kept wet.
7.Wash down with hot water (80°C) and check the cargo tank
8.Repeat the procedure if necessary.

Note: Whenever possible,the cleaning solution should be heated to 60-80°C.If this method is not possible,other conventional methods such as separate rate direct injection,recirulation or hand spraying provide acceptable options.For boiler fire side cleaning,a 10-20 % hot solution, (temp.above 40°C),should be sprayed on to the surfaces to be cleaned.Allow to penetrate for 20 minutes and flush off. For deposits which are very hard to remove, increase the concentration to 50% and repeat if necessary

The use of RXSOL-22-2204-210 in correct dosages is half the job done.

FOR HOLD CLEANING :::
For Light  cleaning 10 - 50% solution with  water
For Moderate  deposits 50 - 75% solution with  water
For Heavy deposits 75% solution with water

3 Pieces of Good Advice
Apply RXSOL-22-2204-210 on dry surface where possible. A dry surface will absorb far better than a wet surface. Allow the product to soak for 10 - 30 minutes. Due to the wetting agents, emulsifier  will stick to the wall longer, thereby increasing the contact time, resulting in a better cleaning effect.

When applying RXSOL-22-2204-210 on vertical surfaces: Start application from the bottom and work upwards! If beginning from the top and going downwards, the RXSOL-22-2204-210 may produce "channels" down the surface, thereby running too fast off the surface.
Make sure the solution on the wall doesn’t dry on the surface. Rinse the tanks by means of high pressure waterjetting. This removes the cleaning solution
including the residues.

During high pressure cleaning:It is important that the rinsing water does not run over non-cleaned surfaces! The rinsing water can draw cleaner from the surface if running over non-cleaned surfaces. High pressure together with optimum concentration of RXSOL-22-2204-210 will  give  the  best  effect.

Due to its high oil content, cleaning Green Delayed Petcoke is more challenging than ordinary calcined petcoke.
